Bangladesh is a disaster prone area. It can be said that the people of Bangladesh have learned to live by fighting with various disaster and natural calamities. To mitigate the suffering of the disaster victims Seraa is implementing the emergency relief and rehabilitation .Seraa had gained disaster management experience in various undertaken activities for the disaster victims in Union/Upazilla level. Later Seraa trained the leader of the groups on the disaster preparedness. The leader of the groups later trained the beneficiaries on the disaster preparedness. So that it may be saved from the loss of their property and life. Though there are some limitations, we have been trying to overcome the issues and to support the people affected by any kind of disaster or natural calamities in any place in Bangladesh.
